Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer RRR, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, is one of the biggest hits of the year so far, and the movie has also become the third highest grossing Indian movie of all time by the end of two weeks of theatrical run, having broken numerous box office records.
Despite director Rajamouli’s best efforts to provide equal screen space for both the leading stars, some of Jr NTR’s fans have apparently expressed their displeasure over his comparatively ‘limited’ role, especially in the second half. Responding to a question regarding the same during media interaction, Jr NTR said, “I always maintained and am aware of the fact that Rajamouli has given equal importance to both Ram and Bheem roles. No insecurities involved. We both complimented each other beautifully. While there are scenes elevating one hero at one time, Rajamouli had placed another elevation scene for the other.”
Ram Charan also quashed similar such claims during the film’s recent success party. “I don’t believe that at all. Not even for a second. We both have excelled beautifully and Tarak was fantastic. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed working in a film as much as RRR. What I take back from RRR is my journey with Bheem, my journey with Tarak. I shall never ever forget. Thank you Rajamouli garu for giving me that opportunity. I’ll love him (Tarak) to bits, and it’ll always remain the same,” he said.
