Delhi’s positivity rate declines to 4.2%, from 5.3% on Saturday

Jammu and Kashmir recorded 12 fresh Covid cases in a day taking the infection tally to 4,53,941 while no death due to the disease was reported, officials said on Sunday.
Maharashtra on Sunday reported 127 new coronavirus positive cases, taking its tally to 78,75,845, while the death toll remained unchanged at 1,47,827 as nobody succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours, a health official said.
Karnataka on Sunday recorded 54 fresh COVID-19 cases and zero fatality, taking the total infection to 39,46,369 and the deaths to 40,057 till date, the State Health Department said. Of the total infections, Bengaluru urban district saw 49 while Dharwad reported two infections and one each in Dakshina Kannada, Mysuru and Raichur.
Telangana on Sunday recorded 11 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of cases to 7,91,630 so far, a bulletin said. No deaths due to the virus were reported today and the total fatalities stand at 4,111 till date, it said.
Gujarat reported 15 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking its tally to 12,24,157, while the death toll remained unchanged at 10,942, a health department official said.
Single-day recoveries outnumbered new COVID-19 cases in Odisha on Sunday as 19 people were cured of the disease and 10 more tested positive for the infection, a health department bulletin said.
