FX And The New York Times To Release Exposé Documentary On Elon Musk

Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover has polarised the internet, with many pointing out the potential downside of the deal. To add fuel to the flame, it is now been reported that FX and The New York Times are coming up with an exposé on the billionaire.

The television documentary called Elon Musk’s Crash Course, which is set to premiere on May 20th, will take deep dive into Musk’s company Tesla, and its autopilot programme. It’ll be based on the reporting of Cade Metz and Neal Boudette of The New York Times, who uncovered how Tesla’s autopilot programme has caused several deaths, which the company is yet to publicly acknowledge.

Additionally, it’ll also detail the billionaire’s effort to kill the government investigations of these accidents, with several former Tesla employees speaking out against Musk for the first time.

The documentary is part of FX and NYT’s collaborative series called the The New York Times Presents. In the past, the series has provided an in-depth look into Britney Spears’s life, with the two films — Framing Britney Spears and Controlling Britney Spears, which eventually helped the singer gain the public’s support in ending her conservatorship.

The series which has been on-air since 2020 has also produced in-depth investigative pieces on vaping, Janet Jackson, the wildfire in Australia, and more.
