Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.47% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:04AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

DLF(up 2.64 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 2.29 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.16 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.52 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.48 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 0.36 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 1.47 per cent at 424.9 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 347.7 points at 17235.05, while the BSE Sensex was up 1198.79 points at 57987.6.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 48 were trading in the green, while 2 were in the red.

Shares of





were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of BSL Ltd, Upsurge Seeds of Agriculture Ltd.,

, Varanium Cloud Ltd. and

hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Mega Flex


, Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., Ishan International Ltd. and

hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
