Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today’s trade

and Archean Chemical Industries Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 216.85 points up at 18484.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 43 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 7 closed in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 762.1 points up at 62272.68.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, IT – Hardware, Telecommunications, IT Software and Sugar sectors, while selling was witnessed in Services, NBFC, Learning & Education, Glass and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
